Mount Nebo //جبل نيبو‎ // הַר נְבוֹ‎

And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo,

to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho.

And the Lord showed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

The place of crucifixion, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ of Nazareth according to traditions dating back at least to the fourth century.

And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, but the bush was not consumed.

So when the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, He called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”

Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.
I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.”
